Text The cesspool This is taken from the opening page of chapter sensation of Virginia Woolfs Between the Acts (1941). Virginia Woolf was born in 1882, and during the years leading up to World War I, she became a prominent member of the illustrious literary group subsequently ???????????? known as the Bloomsbury Group.
